I was also a student or Mr. Rod's in the mid 80's and was wondering how he was. From what I can find online, it seems he is no longer with us, which is very, very sad. I think we were all happy when he left school to play saxophone for the "Moscow On The Hudson" movie. Mr. Rod was my favorite music teacher and made our band class fun!

Last December, my boyfriend and my best friend and I were in the car together for my birthday dinner, and we were playing with Siri, asking her to look up songs for various random words. We had just fed the cats, so I said, "Siri, play Cat Food Song." We have listened to this song probably once a week at least ever since. Thanks for a great birthday present, and an earworm that never gets old.
(What a fascinating story! It always delights me to learn that The Cat Food Song is still out there making cats and people happy. Thank you, Kate from Seattle, for sharing this, and I hope your birthday was a happy one!)

Whoever wrote the lyrics for Spectral Face is a genius. : )
(It's true, Tom from Long Island! The guy who wrote that last verse ("Who I am and who I was and who I'll ever be...") is a genius! Thank you for noticing!)

Robin!!
It's been forever and a day! So great to hear our music once again. Unfortunately, I can't remember the last time I picked up a flute; maybe it's time, lol.
Glad to see you're still using your talent, I always knew you would!
Say hi soon, ok?

HI Robin. Being a student under Mr. Rod during the 1988-1991 school years,he proudly often made references to this album. What'd my friends and I to recapture take the A train song but unfortunately it never transpired.
could I ask because a few colleagues and I was wondering about Mr. Rod's whereabouts.
Any answers or suggestions?
We would love to say hello again to him and see how he has been.
Thank you and for uploading this great album!!

Came here from a link on a page somewhere discussing 4-tracks and you mentioned you had some songs on line. I was not expecting to like them this much! Great sense of humore and superb production given what you were working with. Looking forward to exploring here more in the future.
